Oh my friends, oh my love what can I do?
I'm helpless I'm lost.
In the land of the human mind.
Where the serphent twists and runs with the EYE.
A place.
A place where me and you cry.
Where my blood is dried up to it's thirst.
My anger turns into water.
Watching those birds soar with laughter.
We're just a piece of that world.
A world a world were we can't run.
We do as we are told by that EYE.
Watching and waiting
Counting and Hoping
Crying and holding me in your arms.

Wow! Well... the pic demands attention right from the start!!! Did you use charcoal or something?!?!?! It looks amazing!!! and what is the background??? Is it an eisel that you photographed!??!?! The red of the wood just looks awesome in the back and foreground too!!! I don't know if that was intentional... but it really makes everything stand out! I really like the poem too :D It's frustrating being held back from what you want to be... every turn stopping you :S I would think having someone to share that with would be a great comfort :D
